Aspire exists to impact the community.

Aspire proudly sponsors fiscally sponsored non-profit project, Grown Women Dance Collective, which uses arts & wellness for social justice.

100% of proceeds fund this important work.

Aspire opened our Concord brick and mortar in 2006. We became a pillar in the community (winning 5 business awards) as we helped thousands of clients get strong, out of pain, and reach wellness goals they had never before imagined. Our high school students got full college scholarships, our dancers took Broadway by storm, our pregant moms had their babies in 4 pushes, and our elders stayed confidently on their feet. Our “every day” folks created new partnerships with their bodies and realized that they could create a healthier, happier quality of life and dream bigger.

In 2018, we closed our brick and mortar to focus on partnerships to impact our communities. Aspire’s owner, Tonya Amos, having founded Grown Women Dance Collective in 2009, shifted directions to bring this life-changing wellness work into communities that usually didn’t have access.

Re-opening in Oakland in 2023, we are now working locally, nationally, and internationally to certify teachers and are on the front lines of diversifying the Pilates industry. Our new Oakland home is developing community-based practitioners and will be a power center of wellness in our communities.
